I am a cognitive scientist interested in development and aging. My research focuses on attention: the mental capacity that allows us to select information most relevant to us at a given moment. I investigate how attention changes with age, various brain pathologies, and behavioural syndromes. My work also covers other aspects of high-order cognition, such as memory, inhibitory control, and anticipatory behaviour.

I am a faculty member in the Department of Gerontology and affiliated with the Institute of Information Processing and Decision Making at the University of Haifa.

I completed my doctorate training at the Cognitive Neuropsychology Centre, in the Department of Experimental Psychology, University of Oxford, under the supervision of Prof. Glyn Humphreys and Prof. Nele Demeyere where I gained expertise in cognitive assessment. I then worked as a postdoctoral researcher at the Brain and Cognition Lab, led by Prof. Kia Nobre, where we conducted foundational research on dynamic aspects of human performance. Following my postdoc, I was appointed a Departmental Lecturer in Experimental Psychology and a College Tutor at St Hugh's College & Jesus College, Oxford.
